How to Invite a User to Your Groups in Ommnio (Step 2 of 2)

Once registered, new users will appear in your Users tab with a grayed-out avatar and a small clock icon. This means:

• The user exists in your system but has not yet accepted the invitation.
• They won’t receive or read group messages until they join.

📬 Three Ways to Invite Users to Ommnio

1. By Phone Number (Recommended if available)

• If you know the user's phone number and have their consent, enter it when registering.
• Once they sign up in the app using that number, they’ll be automatically linked to your organization.
• You can also send them an SMS directly from the user profile to help them download the app.

2. Via Invitation Link

If you prefer to send the invite through email, WhatsApp, or another digital channel:

• Click the user’s name in the Users list.
• Click the “Copy link” button to get their personal invitation URL.
• Paste and send it wherever you prefer.
• If you’ve added their email, you’ll also see an option to send the invite by email.

3. Using a QR Code

• If you don’t have their phone number or a digital way to contact them, you can invite them in person.

• Go to the user’s profile and click “Print invitation” to generate a paper version with:

  • A personal QR code

  • Step-by-step instructions to join

• If they’re nearby, they can simply scan the QR code on your screen after installing the Ommnio app.

📌 IMPORTANT: Until users accept the invitation and register, they won’t receive any group messages—even if they’ve been added to chat groups.
