Can I See All the Chat Groups in My Account?
This FAQ explains that only Account Administrators can see all chat groups in Ommnio, how to join them, and what happens when you join an open group.
It depends on your role. In Ommnio, only Account Administrators have visibility over all chat groups within the organization.
Where to Find the Full Group List
If you're an Account Administrator, you can access the full list of chat groups by going to:
There, you’ll see:
- All existing chat groups within your organization
- Whether or not you are currently a member of each group
If you're not yet part of a group, you'll have the option to click "Join" and become a member immediately.
Visibility of Group Membership
Keep in mind:
- Open groups have public member lists.
- Once you join an open group, your name becomes visible to other users who check the group’s member list.
This transparency helps users know who they’re communicating with in shared spaces.
Tip: Use your visibility as an Account Admin to monitor, manage, or support communication across teams by joining relevant chat groups.
