How to Know Who Has Read a Message in Ommnio

This FAQ explains how Account and Team Administrators can check who has read a message in Ommnio via the web platform.

Need to track who’s seen a message? In Ommnio, only Account or Team Administrators can view read receipts in chat groups.

Who Can See Message Read Status?

  • Only Administrators (Account or Team) have permission to check who has read a message in a group.
  • Regular users cannot see who has viewed a message.

How to Check Reads in the Web Version

  1. Open the Ommnio web version and go to the relevant chat group.
  2. Find the message you're interested in.
  3. Click the small arrow in the top-right corner of the message bubble.
  4. From the dropdown menu, select “Information”.
  5. A sidebar will appear on the right showing a list of people who have viewed the message.
