How to See Who Is in a Group in Ommnio
This FAQ explains how to check who’s in an open group on Ommnio and what details are shown for each member.
Want to know who you’re chatting with in a group? Ommnio makes it simple to view group members—when the group is open.
You can always start a one-to-one conversation with any member of an open chat group you’re part of. It makes sense—if you can interact in a group, you should also have the option to move the conversation to a private setting.
Available Only in Open Groups
This feature is accessible only in open groups where users can write messages (not in read-only groups).
Steps to See Group Members:
-
Open the group chat.
-
Click on the group title at the top of the screen.
-
A list of members will appear, showing:
- Profile picture
- First name and last name
- Position and area (displayed below their name)
- Location (shown on the right)
This helps users better understand who they’re collaborating with inside each group.
If you click on someone’s name, a one-to-one chat will open instantly, allowing you to start a private conversation.
