What Can a User with Writer Permissions Do in Ommnio?
What Are Writer Permissions in Ommnio?
If your organization needs a user to write anonymously in a chat group — without giving full admin access — you can assign them exclusive writer permissions.
This allows them to contribute content without revealing their identity and without managing group settings.
What a Writer Can Do
Users with writing permissions can:
-
Post messages using the group’s avatar instead of their own identity.
Their posts will appear under the group’s name (e.g., “Human Resources”) — keeping them anonymous. -
Share content in read-only groups, including messages and files.
-
Edit or delete their own messages or those posted via the group avatar by other administrators.
All changes will be visibly marked as “Edited” or “Deleted.”
