How to Block a User
Temporarily suspend access without losing user data or settings.
The block option allows you to temporarily prevent an employee from accessing your chats — all without losing any user data or configurations.
This feature is especially helpful for managing staff with intermittent work relationships. For example, if an employee is on maternity leave or a seasonal worker is leaving temporarily, you can block their access to Ommnio without deleting their user profile or message history.
To block a user:
👉 Go to the Users tab and click the lock icon next to their name.
Once blocked, users won’t be able to access Ommnio, but all their settings and information will be preserved for when they return.
At any time, you can filter by blocked users in the Users tab to review who is currently restricted.
