What Bots Will I See in Ommnio?
Bots in Ommnio are automated chats that send you documents, track your hours, or help you with common requests.
In Ommnio, you may see some chats that aren't with a real person — they're with bots. Bots are automated assistants set up by your organization to help you with specific tasks. They look like regular chats, but their messages are generated automatically.
Here are the bots you may find, depending on what your organization has activated.
Human Resources Bot
This bot delivers personal documentation directly to you — for example, your payslips. Only you can see the files it sends.
Some documents may be password-protected. If so, you'll typically need to enter your ID number (with the letter in uppercase) to open them.
The HR Bot is read-only — you cannot reply to it or ask it questions. If you have any issues with the documents you receive, contact your Human Resources team directly.
Time Tracking Bot
This bot records your working hours. You'll see two buttons — Check-In and Check-Out — to clock in at the start of your shift and clock out at the end.
The bot will send you push notifications at your scheduled entry and exit times so you don't forget. If your schedule changes (for example, if you switch shifts), the notification times will adjust accordingly.
Like the HR Bot, this chat is read-only — you can only use the clock-in/out buttons, not send messages. For any questions about your time records, contact your Human Resources team.
Ommnio Bot
This bot lets you know when there's a new version of the Ommnio app available. Keeping the app updated ensures you have access to the latest tools and features.
This chat is informational only — the bot cannot respond to messages. If you have questions or issues with the app, contact help@ommnio.com.
Custom chatbots
Your organization may also have set up custom chatbots for specific topics — for example, a bot that answers questions about company policies, helps you request materials, or lets you submit a suggestion.
Unlike the bots above, custom chatbots can understand your messages. You can type your question or request in your own words, and the bot will guide you through the process. If the bot can't help, it may transfer the conversation to a real person.
Something not working?
If a bot isn't responding as expected, or if you're not sure which bot to use, contact your manager or your organization's administrator.
