A member user in Ommnio is a user without any administrative permissions. While they can't manage other users or settings, they still have access to a wide range of features designed to keep them connected and informed.

Member User Capabilities:

  • Join Chat Groups

    • Can be invited to participate in group chats within the organization.

  • 💬 Send and Receive Messages and share attachments

    • Can read all messages in their groups.

    • Users can send text, images, videos, audio, and documents. They can also download these attachments or share them with other apps.

    • In read-only groups, they can only view messages and access shared content.

  • 📚 Access Group Resources

    • Can open the document, media, and link libraries from any group they’re part of.

    • Can access folders and documents shared via Ommnio Docs.

    • Can use the app launcher to access all apps and external resources provided by their company.
  • 📝 Acknowledge and Sign Documents

    • Can confirm receipt of important messages or digitally sign legally binding documents.

  • 👥 See Group Members

    • Can view the list of participants in open groups (not available in read-only groups).
