Tips before you send
Use PDF whenever possible for documents. Some recipients may not have Excel or Word installed on their phones, which can make XLSX or DOCX files difficult to open. PDFs, on the other hand, open in any web browser and on virtually any device.
Be mindful of file size. Many of your recipients will be connected through mobile data rather than Wi-Fi. Sending very large files forces them to use their data allowance, which can be a problem for colleagues in the field or those with limited plans. When possible, compress images and videos before sending.
If a recipient can't open your file, the most likely cause is that they don't have a compatible app installed. Ask them to try opening it in a different app, or resend it as a PDF.
