What Data Do My Colleagues See About Me in Ommnio?
Your colleagues can see basic profile information about you — but only under certain conditions.
When can colleagues see my profile?
Your information is visible to other users only if:
- Your organization has added you to an open chat group (where all members can see each other), or
- Your organization has given you access to the contact directory.
In read-only groups, members cannot see the list of other members. Your organization can also remove access to the contact directory at any time.
What information is visible?
When colleagues can see your profile, they'll see:
- First and last name
- Position
- Department
- Employee code (if applicable)
- Workplace (if declared by your administrator)
- Profile picture (if you or your administrator uploaded one)
What about my phone number?
No colleague will ever see your phone number in Ommnio — even if you provided it during registration. For more details, see Is my phone number visible in Ommnio?
What if my data is incorrect?
Users cannot modify their own profile data (except profile picture, schedule, and time zone). If you notice any errors in your name, position, or department, ask your manager or administrator to correct them from the Users tab in the web version of Ommnio.
