Initiatives: The basic questions and answers

What is an Initiative?
An Initiative is a campaign label you attach to one or more messages so you can group them under a shared goal and measure how your audience engages with them as a whole. For example, a "Q3 Safety Rollout" Initiative can span a dozen messages and tell you, in one place, how many people read, clicked, or replied.

How is an Initiative different from a single message or a group chat?
A message is one post; a group chat is an audience. An Initiative cuts across both — it ties together related messages (even sent to different groups, on different days) so their results are reported together against one goal.

We don't see Initiatives in our account. Why?
Initiatives is a feature flag that Ommnio enables per company. If you don't see the tag option in the composer or the Initiatives analytics tab, contact Ommnio to have it switched on. The Initiatives analytics dashboard also requires the Advanced Analytics add-on; the two are enabled together on request. Talk to our Sales Team.
