Who Can Read the Messages I Write in Ommnio?

In group chats

All members of a group can read the messages you write and see the files you share — photos, videos, audio, and documents. These files automatically become part of the group's library, accessible to all members at any time.

When a new member joins a group, they get access to the full conversation history, including all messages and files shared before they joined. This is different from apps like WhatsApp — in Ommnio, the entire group history is always visible to current members.

What administrators can see

Account Administrators (typically from Human Resources, Communication, or General Management) have the ability to access all groups in the organization. They can view messages and files in any group, whether or not they are a member.

Private conversations

One-on-one chats between two users are completely private. No administrator — whether Account, Team, or Group — can view private conversations between other users. For more details, see Who can see my private conversations in Ommnio?

Keep in mind

Ommnio is a corporate communication platform provided by your organization. The conversations and files shared in groups are intended to be work-related and are accessible to the organization's administrators as part of their platform management responsibilities.
